Mix & Fix SBR Latex is a versatile SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) latex additive designed to improve the bonding, strength, durability, flexibility, and water resistance of cement-based construction materials. It can be used for bonding new concrete to old concrete, repairing damaged concrete and plaster, preparing waterproofing coatings and plaster, and improving the performance of grout, skim coat, wall putty, and tile setting mortar.

Usage: Where to Apply?

• Concrete & RCC: Suitable for RCC structures, beams, columns, slabs, and concrete surfaces.
• Old & New Concrete Bonding: Used as a bonding slurry between new concrete and existing concrete or plaster.
• Repairing & Plastering: Suitable for repairing damaged concrete, plaster, cracks, floor toppings, screeds, and polymer-modified screeds.
• Waterproofing: Used for waterproofing coatings, waterproof plaster, slurry, walls, floors, basements, and water tanks.
• Grout & Wall Putty: Can be incorporated into grout and wall putty to improve bonding and durability.
• Skim Coat & Tile Mortar: Helps enhance the bonding and performance of skim coats and tile setting mortars.

Application Instructions

1. Bonding Agent

Mixing Ratio: 1 kg SBR Latex : 3 kg Cement : 1.5–2 kg Water

Apply the prepared bonding slurry over the old concrete or plaster surface before applying the new cement-based material.

2. Waterproofing Coating

Mixing Ratio: 1 kg SBR Latex : 1 kg Cement

Mix thoroughly and apply two coats by brush over a clean surface.

3. Repairing Mortar

Dosage: 5 kg SBR Latex per 50 kg Cement

Add SBR Latex and water to the cement-sand mixture. Suitable for plaster and crack repair applications.

4. Waterproof Plaster

Dosage: 500 g–2 kg SBR Latex per 50 kg Cement

Add SBR Latex and water to the cement-sand mixture to produce more water-resistant and durable plaster.

5. Wall Putty / Grout

Mixing Ratio: 1 kg SBR Latex : 10 kg Putty / Grout

Mix SBR Latex directly with the putty or grout to prepare a polymer-modified product.

6. Sealer / Damp-Proof Solution

Mixing Ratio: 1 kg SBR Latex : 20 L Solution

Mix thoroughly with the sealer or solution and apply according to the normal application procedure.

7. Skim Coat & Other Coatings

Mixing Ratio: 1 kg SBR Latex : 20 kg Product

Mix SBR Latex thoroughly into the coating material to improve long-lasting bonding.
